JustFab clothing review!!!

Hey everyone! I hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Actually, for me, I like the day after Thanksgiving. TURKEY SOUP!!!! Better than turkey itself. Love it! So this past year I have finally decided to be…ME, MYSELF, and I. I will believe in things I used to believed and cared for, do the stuff I liked doing, and wear the clothes styles I like. Just because I am a mom, it does not me I must leave my identity behind. So first off, the clothes I wear. I love fashion! Well, ok, my sense of fashion, which I think others like too. Anyhooo *that’s right, I wrote that*, I am rebuilding my collection of clothes and shoes. I ordered myself one pair of jeans and a blouse from this website called JustFab a clothing subscription.

I shall tell you about this business. From what I have gathered in my brain. JustFab is a subscription service with the option to skip the month. If you don’t skip the month by the 5th *correct me if I’m wrong* you will be charged $39.95. If you do not want to skip, then you can use the $39 towards your purchase. When you sign up, you have to take a questionnaire to help the stylists determine your style. You can actually change it every month, especially if you have something going on the next month. Like you can request styles for parties one month then the next month nothing is going on, so you can request styles for casual. Or you can do what I do, I request for all styles! The questionnaire not only helps the stylists create personalized picks of clothes, but also bags, shoes, and accessories. But don’t worry, you do not have to shop only the personalized picks, you can shop the whole website. Also the sizes go from extra small to plus size. I can’t remember the exact size numbers. That’s it…I think…oh wait, here’s a little extra for you all. JustFab is connected to two other websites: FabKids and Fabletics.

I know what you are thinking, “Um, girl, get to the clothes!”.  Okay, okay! By the way, if you’re new, warning I tend to write what I say out loud. Onto the clothing I recently got from them!

First off, the jeans. These are high-waisted skinny distressed jeans. They have a little stretch to them. I got them in the size 16w. These are pretty comfortable. I got them for the price of $26.83. *There was a sale going on when I bought this and the blouse* I normally don’t purchase these kind of jeans because buying jeans with holes is…I do not know. But these were cute AND I got an extra discount *psst, that’s the real reason why I bought them*. Yes, that is my cat rubbing against my legs btw. NEXT!

Let’s talk about this blouse. This is a zip back lace blouse. I got this in the color “Oxblood” *their color name, not mine* and it also comes in black. This is lace vintage-style blouse. It has a stand up collar and single button cuffs. Obviously, it is sheer, so it has that sexy appeal to it. You can definitely style this in multiple ways. As you can see, I choose to wear it by itself, with just my bra under it. You can wear it with a skinny strap shirt under as well. I got it in the size 1x because of my thick arms. It is really comfortable actually. From the picture above, it has a full length zipper. It really isn’t hard to put on. Oh yeah, the price, that I got it at was $14.09, but the original is $29.95.

I am enjoying these two pieces of clothing. Come along on my train travel to my true identity. Exciting! By the way, this not is sponsored or have affiliated links. I just love this website, I got many shoes from them and I finally decided to give their clothing a try. Good decision Yolanda! Yay for me. And CUT! That’s all I got to say. Until next time Lovelies!!

Interesting eye product!

So while I was strolling the aisles in, what you know!… Target lol. I found some thing in the Revlon section. You know how this company has those two sided nail polishes? Well it seems that they created one for eyeshadow. I got two of them. They are the Revlon Photoready Eye Art *lid+line+lash*.  Now these are interesting. I had these for a bit. I do not know exactly when they came out. So I’m not sure how new it is but when I found it, it was new to me. It was on the display that’s for new products but I guess that doesn’t mean it was new. I know some times stores can get a little lazy on the displays.

So I can honestly say I don’t know how to work these. I am still trying to figure these out. So anyways I got them in the colors “090 Burnished Bling” and “020 Lilac Luster”. Both of these colors are beautiful. I will give them that. On one end, there is a cream eye shadow and on the other end is a glitter. For the first color, which is Burnished Bling, it is a true copper. In my eyes at least. It is like a perfect color for a bronzed eye look. And the glitter is a mixture of gold and copper in clear gel. It seriously smells like paint but not to strong of scent so I can let that go. Now when I swatch this color, it comes out so beautifully. You seriously just need what you get on the sponge tip. There is NO need to get more product. Personally, I think the amount you get first is more than you need. It does dry pretty quickly. It dries to a metallic finish. It doesn’t budge even when you try to smudge it. But it is not waterproof!

The glitter is pretty as well. Now I’ll admit I did try it out. I only just put the cream shadow only on my eye lid and then lined a little with the glitter. I did not, what so ever, liked the feeling of the cream shadow on my eye lid. It felt so weird. Not only did it feel a little sticky but also drying. So I can not tell you the wear ability for this product. Sorry, I really am trying to figure out how to work it. I actually want this product to work! But it just feels really weird on the lid. I don’t know exactly how to explain it. Sorry. In the directions, it says to apply the cream shadow on the eye lid and let it dry. Then line with the glitter or on the lashes. Now I don’t quite understand what they mean by lashes. Do they mean to put the glitter on the lash line or literally on the lashes? Has anyone out there tried this product? If so, how do you use it?

Now for the second color Lilac Luster. It seems that you do need to get a little bit more product. It applies a little sheer. Just like the first color, the cream shadow dries to a metallic finish. It is a beautiful shade of purple. Now you do have to let it dry completely or else the shadow will become patchy. By the way, again, one end comes with sponge tip while the other end has a brush tip. But I guess you already know by seeing the pictures. LOL. So like I have been saying, I wish I can make this work for me. At this moment, it just doesn’t. I will find a way. These really are pretty colors. Maybe I will use them as a base for a similar powder eye shadow color. We will see.

I figured what it feels like. It feels tacky on the lid. That is what I wanted to say. Now I can’t really say these are worth it. That is to bad because I wanted to. But I can’t lead you all on. Now since it has been a while since I bought these, I do not remember the cost of just one. But for now, I have to say they are not worth it. Pretty colors but not workable. I forgot to mention the cream shadow is kind of hard to blend as well. So much for this product review. If you happen to give this a try and are able to work with it, let me know. I would love to know! Well, I want to thank you again for stopping by and reading my blog. Until next time Lovelies!

Laura Geller Mascara!

I love that my mascara collection is slowly growing. Maybe not so much a good thing for my guy but it’s a great thing for me! Lol. I always believe that your smile and eyes are a window to your soul. But to really makes people notice your eyes, mascara was invented! Ok so I don’t know if that was the purpose it was created. But it still is a great invention. Especially now since color mascara is becoming more of a thing now. It truly makes a difference when people look into your eyes. So I know mascara is magic for your eyes! Lol!

Every time I step into Ulta Beauty Store, I always take notice of this brand. So during my last shopping trip at Ulta, I decided to give this brand a try.  Laura Geller GlamLASH Dramatic Volumizing Mascara. Oh! My! Goodness! I love this beautiful creation! Yes, I do. So I know I am being a little dramatic but I honestly do like this mascara. It really does it’s job.

Raise your hands if pretty packaging makes you think the product will be good. Well, I bet we all have been suckered by this trickery at least once. I know I have. So if you are a person who buy half on packaging, let me tell you something. Don’t let this packaging fool you. It may be simple but it is powerful! The mascara is just in a basic black tube container. I like how the mascara wand is straight. Same length throughout the bristles except the tip is slightly shorter.

With this mascara, I feel like I don’t need to curl my lashes. I think it curls them by itself. It gives my lashes length and thickness. I’ll remember to curl my lashes and see how the results are different. It is pretty deep black. It does not flake. I wouldn’t say it’s waterproof but it does take a little to wipe off. Plus it does dry quick.

Now normally by itself it costs $24.00. But I got mine in a set I bought. I forgot the price and tried to look for it but I think the set was limited edition. I think. I can’t find the set. I will say I would pay the price for this. I say go ahead and give it a try. Thanks again for stopping by and reading my blog. Until next time Lovelies!

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation Review!

I know I am late on the bandwagon for this foundation. Oh well! That’s me! I guess this post is for the ones that are late like me. Lol. Who is with me?! I have tried this out for a bit as you can see in the photo below. I got mine at…Target. Surprise! Not. I really got to get help for my obsession. Don’task me when and why this obsession started. It is a dangerous one, at that! It is interesting as well though. By the way, speaking about Target, I am proud of myself. Lol. I actually went in, shopped, and checked out with out stopping by Starbucks. Any of you got an obsession for a store?  Is it your go to store for, almost, everything.

So as you can tell by now, I got the L’Oreal Paris Visible lift Blur foundation in the shade Sand Beige. I bought it for $11.99 for 1.3 fl oz./40 ml.  It also has SPF 18. Now on the tube, it says it has optic – blur technology. What ever that suppose to mean. ?. It suppose to assist in the area of wrinkle reduction, skin tone improvement, and is anti-aging. It is a cream like foundation.

I got to say I am kind of disappointed with this foundation. Because it came out of the tube thick, I assumed it would give me medium to full coverage. It is like a tinted moisturizer. It gives me little to some what medium coverage. It does blend in to my skin easily. That is pretty much what I liked the most about it. It dries to a strange texture. I don’t know how to explain it but it doesn’t dry nicely on my skin. It kinda makes my skin look a little dry. Plus it makes my skin look greasy and takes a bit to dry. Unfortunately, it does wipe off easily, especially on to my clothes. You definitely need to set it with some kind of setting powder or spray.

I wish I could say this foundation worked out for me. But I can’t. That’s okay because not all foundation will work for all skin types. Though, I will say this, my skin is my skin. Meaning your skin is most likely different than mine. So create your own opinion on this foundation. I do, though, think this is not worth the price. Based on my experience.

Thanks again for stopping by and reading my blog. Giving me some time of your day. Until next time Lovelies!

Finally! Bioderma!

You read the title right! I was able to get my hands on the BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Make-up removing micelle solution. I was able to get my hands on it through Beautylish. Beautylish is like a heaven spot. If you’re trying to get a hold of something not available in the U.S., this is the site! You really do have high chances of finding an item that is unavailable in your country. Sometimes they will have exclusive deals just for their subscribers. Their deliveries are amazing! I ordered the item and I received the next day. Literally! 😮 It might have to do where I live but still. Also, if you order before a certain time, your package will ship out the next day. Their website is pretty cool actually. You should check them out. By the way, I am not sponsored by them. I wish! 🙏🏽😜

Anyways, here’s a little life update. I recently did a small shopping haul with my older sister. Make-up of course! 💳💸 It was mainly for her wedding makeup which I will be doing. But bad thing about this shopping trip is that we went into Sephora. 😓 But I am proud of myself. I did pretty good if I do say so myself. Speaking of shopping, I will do a shopping haul blog post pretty soon. I like posts about shopping hauls because I like to see what’s out there and see what I missing out on. A little warning again, I’m having difficultly uploading pictures. I’m still trying to see what I can do.

Onto what I got from Beautylish. This cleansing water is amazing. I love it! There is no scent what so ever, no tingling sensation, or even a drying effect. This really does cleanse my face. Also amazing when I use it to remove my makeup. So far I have been using it as a makeup remover and a face cleanser. I LOVE IT 😍! It feels so refreshing on the skin. It is not drying what so ever. My skin feels very hydrated. Usually when I use another cleanser, I have to use a night time product, which you should by the way. I do know there are nights where you are just so tired that you only have enough energy to take off your makeup. Well I say this is the product. When I use the Bioderma, I feel like my face is truly cleansed. My face feels soft after I use it.

This may be a short post but that is because there simply isn’t much to say. Mainly because the product speaks for itself! It is that good. I really suggest you get this when you can. There’s a high chance of it becoming one of your favorites. Again like the past few posts, I’ll update it with pictures when I get this problem fixed. Thanks again for stopping by and reading my posts.  Until next time Lovelies!💋

Bioré product review

So lately I have been liking skin care products with charcoal in it. Charcoal has many skin benefits like it has antibacterial properties, tighten pores, reduces inflammation, can absorb toxins, and many more skin benefits. So I got myself the Bioré  free your pores charcoal pore minimizer. It’s a black cleanser, obviously. I bought it from Ulta Beauty Store

All I can say about this is that it really deeply cleans. It is a little grainy. My skin really does feel clean and refreshed after using this cleanser. Like it says in the directions, I also suggest wash and rinse with warm water. It does foam a little. What I really like about this is the pump mechanism the bottle has. You pushed down while a hole opens up and pumps out the right amount you need. This just takes out the guess work of how much product you need. By the way, my cameras are acting weird so I am not able to upload a picture of the product. I will update with a picture. Also sorry that this post was sweet and short. That was all I had to say.

Thanks again for stopping by and reading my posts, even the sweet and short ones. Until next time Lovelies!

New Foundation Review!

I have been looking for a foundation that can last me 12 hours. Why, you ask? Just because I do not want many bottles of foundations taking up space in my drawer. I am trying to cut down on my foundation collection. I know I can’t do that to the rest of my makeup because, well, I am a makeup junkie! Proud of that title, for your information. I know skin will change during season changes so I will have different types of foundations. But I do think I have found the foundation that is good for every season. I might even suggest this for being part of your wedding makeup. I am going to test it out for about 12 hours. Why? Because I am going to be my older sister’s maid of honor. So I will be running around and making sure things go smoothly so she doesn’t have to worry about it. So I will need a foundation that will last me the day. Especially since I will be doing my makeup, the bridemaids, and the bride herself. I just need to find the right foundation for me. I found theirs already. Plus her wedding is end of summer-going into fall. So I need it to last the weather as well.

I recently bought NUANCE SALMA HAYEK Flawless Finish Liquid Foundation *with skin adapting technology*. I bought it at CVS Pharmacy. This brand is exclusively sold only at CVS stores. I bought it for $ 14.99 and I got the shade Medium Warm. It is 1 fl oz (30 ml) jar. It comes in a glass jar that has a pump. I like foundations that comes with a pump. I like pump foundations because you have a little more control on the amount of product you get.  It is suppose to help minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines. It does make your skin radiant, glowing… oooh, I know. It makes your skin look HEALTHY! Not all foundation can do that. For me at least. I will say that the jar is quite thick and heavy. I’ll admit something to you all. A makeup lover’s nightmare. I dropped it! I accidentally dropped it, from a pretty good height mind you, on the concrete floor. But it did not crack, chip, or even scratch. Now that is a sturdy jar. But I am NOT suggesting you to drop test it.

Before Application plus being tired

On to the foundation itself. The star of the show! It is thick and creamy. But does not feel heavy at all. It surprisingly feels quite lightweight. It does have a slight sunscreen lotion scent to it. But that goes away. The blend ability is amazing. It blends flawlessly. It is so easy to blend out. It only takes a few minutes to dry. It doesn’t dry quick nor does it take long. I say this foundation gives medium to full coverage. I suggest you start off with one layer then build it up. By the way, this is completely build able without looking to cakey. It gives a satin finish. Between a matte finish and a dewy finish.

It does not sink in to my pores or my wrinkles. I will say that this foundation makes my pores smaller. So far as I can tell, it does not crease under my eyes. Also I can double it as a concealer. For myself, I use one and a half pump. I start from the center of my face and blend it outward. It does not feel tacky at all. For me, thick foundations tend to feel tacky on my face. But this does not which is definitely a bonus. I suggest also like every liquid foundation, to shake the bottle. This covers my redness and the scars I have. I love it!

I like how it has extracts of apple, lentil, and pearl. It is hypoallergenic and paraben free. It lasts pretty good during the day. Considering that I get oily in the T-zone area. I got normal to combination skin. I just set my T-zone area with powder. I only had to touch up on my nose but I do that with all my foundations. Other than that, it gives me a glowing refreshed look. Even though I get oily in the t-zone this foundation works good for me. But I do suggest this foundation is more suited for normal to dry skin types. But you combo to oily skin types out there you can try it since it worked for me. But I do not guarantee the same results though.

Anyways,  I wore this for about six hours. I only blotted and touched up after four hours I apply the foundation. Like I said, I powder only on my T-zone area. When I applied my contour and highlight, the foundation did not streaked or moved around. I am liking this foundation! Even though this is not a new product, I’m glad I finally gave in and tried it out. I think I’ll buy more products from this brand. I Most definitely suggest this foundation to you all. I feel like you would like this foundation like I do. Wow, a lot of “like”s in one sentence. I can’t help but say that sentence in a stereotypical “valley girl” voice. Lol. Anyways, if you do give this a try, I hope you get good results like I did. Well, thanks again for stopping by and and reading my blog. Until next time Lovelies!
