Mini shopping haul!

Happy Memorial’s Day! Anyone starting a good ole’ barbecue with their family and friends. I think we might be. Maybe just with a few of us. I really do hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Especially to those that got a three day weekend. I know I am enjoying mine. I am not trying to brag or anything about this haul. I actually like shopping hauls. That way I can see what is new out there in the beauty industry or, at least, new to me. Lol. That is my reason why I like them.

It is not that big of a shopping haul. I am just extremely proud of myself on how much of it was on clearance. Two of the items were a necessity while the rest was because of the makeup junkie in me. Lol. First stop was at Target. I know, I know. I need to take a break from that store. It just ends up reeling me in. So imagine yourself walking through the store and walked through a certain aisle that has an item you have been wanting. You know the item you have been wanting but in a different color. Well imagine finally seeing it in stock and then add the red sticker. For those of you who shop at Target know the red sticker means clearance.

First item. Now I have reviewed this item before, in just one color. Here . I know, I am ashamed. Not! More lip products! Maybe I do got a problem. Oh well! It is a fun problem. LOL. So in that previous post I mentioned that I thought there only one color for the Rimmel London Show Off Lip Velvet “Matte”. Well I was apparently wrong. I found four more and they were in clearance. I bought them all for $3.28 each. Original price is $6.59. I got the colors Apollo, Meteoric Matte, Atomic Rose, and Orange Ology.

Top-Bottom: Meteoric Matte, Apollo, Atomic Rose, Orange-Ology

Second item. Also from Rimmel London. I have been seeing these new items for about a week. Today I saw them with a red sticker. So I decided to buy three of the colors. I bought them for $2.98. Original price is $5.99. It is the Lasting Finish Colour RUSH. They are a long lasting intense colour balm. Supposedly. My next few posts will be reviews on some of the products I got. I got the colors Lady Marmalade, Not an illusion, and All you need is Pink.

Third item. Next stop was at Ulta Beauty Store. I got three things from there. Since I kinda bought a few lip products, I thought I would get something else. Okay, okay, I bought several lip products. I tried to get away from that. Oh well! Lol. Anyways, this third product is sort of new. I got Too Faced Sugar Pop eye shadow palette. I bought this for $36.  I LOVE the colors in this palette. They are so pretty! Plus the macaroon pattern design in the container is super cute.

Fourth item. Now these last two items were the two things that I needed. First, I got this night time cream. I have been meaning to get one. I am getting to that age where I really need to get work on skin care routine. Maybe I’ll write a post on my nightly skin care routine. Anyways, I got the GARNIER Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream. I bought it for $14.99.

Fifth item. I needed a new foundation sponge. My old one was starting to falling apart. So I got the real Techniques miracle complexion sponge. I got for $5.99. I had the beautyblender sponge. That worked but this so far is better. Mainly because of the price. I’ll test this sponge out soon.

Well that is it for my shopping haul. I really didn’t get much. So like I said, I will write some posts on reviewing some of these products. Keep an eye out for those. Thanks for stopping by again and reading my blog posts. Until next time Lovelies!

Finally! Bioderma!

You read the title right! I was able to get my hands on the BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Make-up removing micelle solution. I was able to get my hands on it through Beautylish. Beautylish is like a heaven spot. If you’re trying to get a hold of something not available in the U.S., this is the site! You really do have high chances of finding an item that is unavailable in your country. Sometimes they will have exclusive deals just for their subscribers. Their deliveries are amazing! I ordered the item and I received the next day. Literally! 😮 It might have to do where I live but still. Also, if you order before a certain time, your package will ship out the next day. Their website is pretty cool actually. You should check them out. By the way, I am not sponsored by them. I wish! 🙏🏽😜

Anyways, here’s a little life update. I recently did a small shopping haul with my older sister. Make-up of course! 💳💸 It was mainly for her wedding makeup which I will be doing. But bad thing about this shopping trip is that we went into Sephora. 😓 But I am proud of myself. I did pretty good if I do say so myself. Speaking of shopping, I will do a shopping haul blog post pretty soon. I like posts about shopping hauls because I like to see what’s out there and see what I missing out on. A little warning again, I’m having difficultly uploading pictures. I’m still trying to see what I can do.

Onto what I got from Beautylish. This cleansing water is amazing. I love it! There is no scent what so ever, no tingling sensation, or even a drying effect. This really does cleanse my face. Also amazing when I use it to remove my makeup. So far I have been using it as a makeup remover and a face cleanser. I LOVE IT 😍! It feels so refreshing on the skin. It is not drying what so ever. My skin feels very hydrated. Usually when I use another cleanser, I have to use a night time product, which you should by the way. I do know there are nights where you are just so tired that you only have enough energy to take off your makeup. Well I say this is the product. When I use the Bioderma, I feel like my face is truly cleansed. My face feels soft after I use it.

This may be a short post but that is because there simply isn’t much to say. Mainly because the product speaks for itself! It is that good. I really suggest you get this when you can. There’s a high chance of it becoming one of your favorites. Again like the past few posts, I’ll update it with pictures when I get this problem fixed. Thanks again for stopping by and reading my posts.  Until next time Lovelies!💋

Bioré product review

So lately I have been liking skin care products with charcoal in it. Charcoal has many skin benefits like it has antibacterial properties, tighten pores, reduces inflammation, can absorb toxins, and many more skin benefits. So I got myself the Bioré  free your pores charcoal pore minimizer. It’s a black cleanser, obviously. I bought it from Ulta Beauty Store

All I can say about this is that it really deeply cleans. It is a little grainy. My skin really does feel clean and refreshed after using this cleanser. Like it says in the directions, I also suggest wash and rinse with warm water. It does foam a little. What I really like about this is the pump mechanism the bottle has. You pushed down while a hole opens up and pumps out the right amount you need. This just takes out the guess work of how much product you need. By the way, my cameras are acting weird so I am not able to upload a picture of the product. I will update with a picture. Also sorry that this post was sweet and short. That was all I had to say.

Thanks again for stopping by and reading my posts, even the sweet and short ones. Until next time Lovelies!

Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review!

Today I am going to review a skin care product from the Lush Company. These are fresh handmade cosmetics. This is product is a lip scrub. A sweet sweet lip scrub! This will be a short and quick review just because there is not much to say. First of all, I hope you remember to take care of your lips, neck and the rest of your skin like you do for your face. They are just as important! So I have had this for awhile and it works great for me! It is the “Bubblegum lip scrub“. Let me just say that this is crazily sweet scented. I swear! Once you open the jar, the scent of bubblegum hits your nose quick. Same goes for the taste. It does taste really sweet as well.

It comes in a 0.8 oz (25 g) glass jar. I bought mine from their website for $9.95. It may look small but you only need very little amount of the lip scrub. I love that this company’s products are natural. They do not test on animals, which is a bonus. I know that there is a location in San Francisco, CA. It is quite simple to use. All you have to do is get some product, scrub and buff your lips. On the “how to use” instructions, it says you can lick off the excess. But I don’t advise you to do that. I did and the taste upsets my stomach.

How I do it is a little different. I get my lips moist with warm water. Then I scrub and buff my lips. I wipe it off with a washcloth that is pre-soaked with warm water. Then pat my lips dry. Then afterwards, I apply vaseline or any kind of lip balm I have on hand at the moment. This really does soften my lips. It works great especially during the winter seasons. I will say that it tends to dry on top so I store the jar upside down so the oils will keep the scrub moist. I think this is a good way to store it but that is my preference. I most definitely suggest you buying this lip scrub. It works great! I love it!

Well thanks again for stopping by and reading my blog. Until next time Lovelies!

Anti-Stress Mask review!

So like I always say, for your makeup to be flawless, you must start at the base. Your skin! If people thought I was a makeup junkie…oh boy, they have no clue. I am a skin care junkie. I love skin care. It is more important than your makeup. Yes, you heard right! Skin care over makeup! But that does not mean you have to spend an arm and/or a leg for good care. Honestly, the best and favorite facial mask are cheap. I have done some reviews from the same brand before. It is the FREEMAN. I have quite a number of them, all for different reasons. This one is a Anti-Stress Mask Dead Sea Minerals. This is used to purify and clear pores.

To be honest, I like the fun color. It’s blue! I know, I know! I’m such a simply easily amused chic. Don’t ask me why because I have no clue. Lol. I love how this facial mask just absorbs excess oil. Like it says, it also clarifies my clogged pores. This truly does work for me. By the way, the main ingredient in this is sea salt which is suppose to replenish and balance moisture. Plus, a bonus is that its ideal for all skin types.

Do be careful when you apply. Apply a thin layer of it because if you apply a thicker layer, the fragrance will water your eyes for a few seconds. Other than that, I love this mask. Plus it costs less than $10. FREEMAN brand makes good facial masks that actually does its jobs. I suggest you try this one. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog. Until next time Lovelies!

OLAY review!

So what are everyone’s plans for the weekend? My guy and I are going to do some errands and then Sunday, we’ll be going over to my Aunt’s house and join my family for a bbq birthday party for one of my many younger cousin’s. I can’t believe he will be turning 9 years old. Don’t you hate it when you feel they grow to fast. Even to the point where it makes me feel a little old. LOL. Just coming up with an idea for his present is nerve wrecking. I truly love my cousins. We have our troubles, even against sometimes against each other but in the end we are a close-knit family and will always be. I can be myself around my cousins. I can be young and fearless with them by my side. *Inwardly laughing at myself* I notice I’m sounding so cheesy and stuff. Idk. *Again* I guess having to attend another birthday party is making me reminiscence. Anyways on to the review! Onward, my lovelies!

So as I am hoping, you all know that for your makeup application to be flawless, you must start caring for your skin right. Just like how a lipstick color is gonna look different on different skin tones, skin care products will work differently. To take care of your skin, you must find out what your skin needs. For me personally, I have pretty good skin. I do have slight discoloration and will get a blemish here and there. So my skin care routine is mainly targeting my discoloration and helping with any aging. Preventing wrinkles. So I have turned to Olay products.

I recently bought Olay’s Total Effects 7 in one blemish control salicylic acid acne cleanser. I got to say I am enjoying this cleanser. I have been having trouble in finding a good cleanser. As we all get older, our skins change. So mine is deciding its time to be stubborn and have me buy and try products. My skin and I are being stubborn towards each other. Weird, huh? I make it sound like we’re a couple or something. I guess in a strange way, we are. Lol. I can imagine my guy’s face if I said that to him.

So it is a typical white colored cleanser. It is creamy yet thick. Kinda like a mayonnaise texture. Weird that I’m comparing a cleanser to a condiment. Anyways…..I really wonder why I think the way I do. So back to it, this cleanser does not contain a scent. I bought it for $5.99 at Target. It is supposed to refine pore appearance, acne control, radiance, skin softness, fine line appearance reduction, blemish minimization, gentle purification, and deep cleansing. It contains 2% salicylic acid. It is just like a regular cleanser

I have been using this cleanser for over a week now. I have noticed my pores appearance get a little smaller. Not the pores themselves but the appearance. You can’t  get rid of your actual pores. You can though make them appear smaller. Which this cleanser did for me. My skin seems to be more radiant, bright. And it has been able to help me diminish my blemishes. I love this cleanser, it is have doing wonders for skin. Since I already love Olay’s moisturizer, I had good feelings about their other product. So I definitely suggest you try this cleanser out. Seeing how my mother barely aged and after seeing her in her 20’s in pictures, I think Olay really is trustworthy. I hope you enjoyed stopping by and reading my blog. Thanks again. Until next time Lovelies.

Charcoal and Black Sugar Polishing Scrub

Lately, I’ve been using the Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Polishing scrub. It’s feels so nice on the skin. So, you apply it to the skin (face&neck) and leave it on for 5-7 minutes, then message 1-2 minutes, and rinse off with warm water. The fact that it’s a scrub, means it won’t apply evenly. Obviously it feels coarse but feels good. Once you apply it, it starts to warm up on the skin. That only lasts a few seconds, at least with me, it might be different for others. But I gotta say, it feels good. Notice a trend here? It feels good. lol.

So, it contains activated charcoal which helps absorb oils and impurities. As the black sugar helps exfoliate dead skin cells. Supposedly it’s good for all skin types. I also know that, in my head as of this moment, it contains coconut extract, papaya extract, raspberry extract, sandalwood extract, lavender oil, ginger root extract, and banana extract. It does leave my skin feeling soft and anew.

By the way, for those of you who are probably wondering, what’s “activated” charcoal. Its regular charcoal that is heated with a gas that causes the charcoal to expand. Also was solely created for medicinal uses.

So would I recommend this? Yes, yes I do. I think it’s an affordable product that works truly well. But even when products say it’s good for all skin types, test a little area before. Again, it’s feels good. It’s warm and tingly. Btw, I got at Ulta for $6.99-$7.99. I check the price again. But I say go ahead, buy and try. Until next time lovelies. 💋

P.S. I was going to publish this post but last night became a tiring night. Sorry everyone. And again thank you for stopping by my blog and reading. Love you all. 💕💖
